Abstract
The article provides information regarding quicksands in Queensland. It mentions the unforgettable and frightening experience of Pete Dobré, an Australian landscape photographer, in being trapped in the quicksand while taking a shot for his book. Meanwhile, Mark Bolton have reverted the traditional beliefs about quicksand. Information about how to escape from the quicksand is also noted.
