Abstract
The article presents two studies analyzing the influence of ancient genomic duplications of synaptic genes on vertebrate cognitive complexity. It states that the study was conducted on the genetics of mice and cross-species. According to the study, genes of these species are connected with biochemical and physiological mechanisms which influences their behavior.
