Abstract
We performed an anatomical study in the Department of Anatomy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila through dissections to a total of three formalized bodies of the anterior tibial artery starting from the emerging point type and its route. The study included cross sections in the calf to capture more accurately the relations of this artery. I completed this study with anatomical imaging by performing angiography at a number of 20 patients with Lerich syndrome in the department of Vascular Surgery of the Emergency Hospital Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu Bucharest. We studied the pathway, the length and the diameter of the anterior tibial artery. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
