Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 64-year-old male patient with hypertension and paroxysmal vertigo attacks. Examinations revealed right vertebral artery hypoplasia (VAH) with stenosis of the left proximal subclavian artery, and he was tentatively diagnosed with vertobrobasilar insufficiency (VBI). The patient underwent percutaneous transluminal neck angioplaty with stenting, and after 3 months, the reversed blood flow, arm blood pressure differences, and the vertigo attacks disappeared.
