Abstract
In contrast to previous reports [[4]], multiple arteries, veins or nerves within a single intercostal space were not observed in this study. The typical neurovascular pattern of vein (V), artery (A) and nerve (N) lying from above downward was observed in 37/91 (40.7%) intercostal spaces. Neurovascular bundles were classified according to the arrangement of the vein, the artery and the nerve in the intercostal space. [Extracted from the article]
